A globe valve is a valve in which the closing element (disc) is driven by the stem and moves linearly along
the axis of the valve seat. In pipelines, it is primarily used to fully open or shut off the flow of medium, but should not be used for throttling. I. Basic Structure of the Globe Valve
1. The fluoroplastic fully lined globe valves – including the J41F46 straight-through type, J45F46
oblique (Y-pattern) type, and J44F46 angle type – offer advantages such as compact structure, flexible operation, strong corrosion resistance, and short stroke (typically 1/4 of the nominal
diameter). They are widely used in pipeline systems for industries like petroleum and chemical
engineering to shut off media flow. However, it must be emphasized that fluoroplastic-lined globe
valves are strictly prohibited from being used for flow regulation, as the high-velocity medium flow
at the throttling point can erode and damage the sealing surfaces. 2. The disc and stem are designed as an integral structure to prevent the internal parts from being
ejected from the valve body due to pipeline pressure fluctuations. This design ensures a compact
structure and safe operation. II. Actuation Methods
Manual, Gear Operation, Pneumatic (Normally Open or Normally Closed), Electric
