A butterfly valve uses a disc that rotates with the stem as the closing element to achieve opening, closing, and regulation of the valve. In
pipeline systems, besides serving as a shut-off and throttling device, butterfly valves offer advantages such as small size, light weight, and
compact structure. Compared to gate valves of the same parameters, they are on average 30-50% lighter. The disc rotates 90° to complete the opening and closing cycle. Furthermore, because the forces exerted by the medium on both sides of the disc are approximately equal, the
resulting torque and the required operating torque are relatively small. I. Fluoroplastic Lined Butterfly Valve Series Introduced by the Company
There are two basic types: D71F4 and D71F46 (Centerline) fully lined wafer butterfly valves, and D41F4 and D41F46 (Centerline) fully lined
flanged butterfly valves. They feature a two-piece split body construction, with the valve seat integrated into the valve body lining. During
operation, only the all-plastic valve seat and the plastic-lined disc are in contact with the medium. The product can withstand corrosion from
any medium except "molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine". In the D71F46 type, the stem and disc are forged as one piece, uniformly
coated with a layer of FEP. The valve body passage has a smooth inner surface, a high Cv value, and strong flow capacity. It offers moderate
torque and employs a four-stage sealing structure. The sealing surface is paired with an elastic seat gasket made of temperature-resistant and
aging-resistant SI rubber, achieving zero leakage of the medium. Extended from the above models are the D41F4 and D41F46 flanged butterfly valves. These feature a fully lined valve body and a semi-lined
disc (stainless steel disc with lining on the sealing surface). II. Structural Features Centerline Design: The entire disc and seat are concentric (centerline) within a 360° circumference, providing sealing functionality and
allowing free adjustment of pressure and flow. Four-Stage Elastic Sealing: This absolutely guarantees zero internal and external leakage. A. Special transition curves at the connection between the shaft head and the disc circumference and a reasonable interference fit with the valve seat. B. Combination of an elastic O-ring on the shaft end face, and a rigid washer and elastic rubber gasket at the shaft shoulder. C. Combination of an O-ring and a metal gasket for radial shaft sealing. D. Valve seat is embedded in the valve body groove with an elastic strip. III. Actuation Methods Manual, Worm Gear, Pneumatic, Electric.
