PTFE bellows expansion joint is a key component in pipeline systems for compensating thermal expansion and contraction displacements, as well as installation tolerances.
Pipeline expansion joints are used to compensate dimensional changes caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and to prevent damage from vibration at pump outlets and connections to brittle equipment such as glass and graphite.
Various structural types are available:
Steel-lined PTFE expansion joint with stainless steel cover
Stainless steel braided expansion joint
Rubber-covered expansion joint
Pure PTFE expansion joint
Each type is applied under different installation conditions.
Nominal Diameter: DN25 – DN1000
Lining Process: Isostatic molding, Wrapping, Lap joint
PTFE-lined expansion joints are produced by isostatic molding, wrapping, or lap joint for large diameters.
All adopt one‑piece hydraulic forming, pneumatic forming and mechanical forming to shape the bellows.
They can withstand positive and negative pressure while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
Temperature Range: -30 °C to 180 °C
Nominal Diameter: DN25 – DN1000
